Nice stay with a beautiful view Very nice hotel with beautiful views. Everything was comfortable and the service was good. The breakfast in the morning was huge and tasty. It was a quick walk for sightseeing. The parking was a bit scary but worth it!

Unglaublich tolle Aussicht - sehr schönes Hotel Der Ausblick fällt direkt ins Auge mit dem Blick über die Altstadt mit den vielen Kirchen und auf dem Hügel die Jungfrau von Quito.Die Zimmer bieten viel Platz, alles sehr schön ausgestattet und auch das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Super nette und aufmerksame Besitzerin, die uns bei unserer frühen Abreise ungefragt noch eine kleine Frühstücksbox gab.

Lovely hotel and staff! We really enjoyed our stay -- the hotel is beautiful with a spectacular view of the Virgen de El Panecillo. We had booked our reservation direct with the hotel through Whats App and booked an airport pickup with them for 8:30 PM at the same time -- the driver was right there at the exit with a sign waiting for us which was so convenient and helpful since we didn't want to mess with getting a taxi after traveling all day. It was an easy walk down the hill to the cathedral and Old Town (but we took a taxi for the trip back to avoid the steep uphill climb!) The staff are so friendly, and the hotel is furnished with beautiful furniture and art. The service and food at breakfast was wonderful. We'd hoped to stay for dinner before leaving for the aiport, but the restaurant didn't open until 7 PM. They volunteered to have the chef make us something earlier, which was so nice, but we didn't want to cause an inconvenience. Thank you!

A wonderful hotel stay We (two couples) stayed at Vista Del Angel for a weeklong visit to Quito. The hotel was clean and the rooms were well stocked with fresh water and amenities. The hotel is centrally located in the historic old town of Quito and is within walking distance to plenty of sights including the town center and the basilica. The hotel is on a fairly steep hill so be sure to take it slow when walking back! We loved the hospitality of the staff, particularly Jennifer and Henry, who were very welcoming and helped answer our questions and plan our days. We were belatedly celebrating two birthdays and the staff even helped us plan a little surprise at breakfast! Overall, we loved our stay here!

The View and Food were worth it! We had a quick 1 night layover in Quito and chose this hotel based on the views. It did not disappoint!! We booked a city view and throughly enjoyed the views! The staff was lovely and helped us find a wine opener so we could enjoy a glass of wine in the room before dinner. Then we had an amazing dinner in the restaurant. It might be pricy for Ecuador standards ($90 for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, bottle of wine and dessert), but the food was on par with gourmet restaurants in the US! Breakfast was absolutely amazing, too (bread, croissants, fruit, yogurt, eggs, espresso coffee, smoothie) and was included in the hotel stay. We’d definitely stay here again!!

Amazing view, caring staff We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this lovely hotel with the most spectacular view...once you have climbed the steep streets to the hotel which was well worthwhile. Unfortunately, there were protests in Quito at the time which curtailed our sightseeing but the staff were really caring, especially when my son was suffering with altitude and exhaustion after a long journey. They couldn't have been kinder and more attentive - bringing him fresh bread that they went out to buy especially, and making him pots of coca tea and fresh juice to help him recover. We were looked after so well and will be back to explore this lovely city some more, I hope! Thanks

Magnificent views, service, and location Vista del Angel was fantastic. The views from everywhere on the premises are great. We had a room with a view of the Panecillo and it was gorgeous lit up at night. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They were quick with a recommendation and helped us get a cab to the airport at 345am. Breakfast is included and isn’t to be missed. It’s upstairs on the third floor with awesome views of the city. It’s also delicious with three courses, a yogurt with granola and fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs. We had dinner there once and it was tasty as well. The location is second to none. It’s halfway between the old town and the cathedral and about a 5-10 min walk to either. It is on top of a hill so if you have trouble with altitude make sure to take it slow. Overall we would recommend this place to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

Magical Hilltop Hotel This hotel is incredibly beautiful! Lots of unique art pieces and the location is very walkable. It’s very romantic! There’s tons of stellar views throughout. The rooms are quiet and peaceful. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. We loved our dinner and breakfast, super yummy! It’s a must stay!
